Deep in
Snarlsbad Cavern lurk an endless legion of terrible goblins.
Also someplace down there, amidst the darkness and stench,
resides a magical object beloved by dwarves: the Shimmering
Widget. Once thought safe from the envy of the world it has
been taken by the goblin hordes. One dwarf, Stormbeard,
armed with his axe, "Death's Whisper", must now
descend into the depths, slay many goblins, and find the
Shimmering Widget. This is Goblin Slayer.
Goblin
Slayer is a fantasy board game for two players. One player
controls Stormbeard the dwarf on his quest for the
Shimmering Widget, while the other leads the throngs of
goblins in hopes of striking the dwarf down and then
possibly eating him; dwarf kidneys are sometimes considered
a delicacy in the underdark and their skulls make great
hats.
The
Snarlsbad Cavern complex consists of a series of geomorphic
tiles that are used to create the gameboard, allowing for a
different combination of tiles each play. Gameplay is easy
to learn, with a heavy focus on killing things!
This is a totally FREE complete board game offered up as a digital
print and play file. In order to make use of Goblin Slayer you will need access to a
printer and some sort of device to cut out the map sections once
printed. While a battleaxe may be in the spirit of the game we recommend scissors. Please note that the
game does not come with any counters, you will have to provide the playing pieces
yourself. If you're a fantasy gamer chances are you have plenty of miniatures laying
around that could be used, otherwise any number of objects may be used to represent
Stormbeard and the goblins. Pennies, beads, dice. Come on, ya
gotta at least have some dice laying around!

Plasmaworm
Plasmaworm
is the fiendishly addictive arcade game of weird worms
eating random probability eidolons in a tank of
otherspatial plasma. Wait, what happens where? Fret not,
it's a fairly straightforward game that can be enjoyed by
gamers young and old alike.
One or
two players (on the same computer, in either co-op or
deathmatch mode) control a plasmaworm through twenty
increasingly difficult levels of play. The worm starts off
as tiny fellow, gliding merrily along in its pulsating
plasma tank by your control, on the prowl for the eidolons
that randomly spawn. Players then guide their plasmaworm
to the eidolon, gobbling it up. With each probability
snack the worm grows longer. The object of each level is
to devour a certain number of objects without crashing
into the walls, or yourself, which is usually easier said
than done!
Plasmaworm
also features several cool elements not often seen in
Snake-style games, such as shooter elements in some of the
levels, and an end game boss, the Plasmangler! While we
wouldn't want to ruin the surprise of facing the
Plasmangler, we will mention that it involves a tentacled
beak, multi-layer destruction, and Plasmoidians. You can
never have enough Plasmoidians in your game!

Big Box of Blox
Big Box of Blox can best be summed up as Tetris on acid. So crank up some Floyd and

Dr. Blob's Organism, winner in not one, but two, IGF categories (2004 IGF Innovation In
Audio and Innovation in Visual Art), is a game about shooting one-celled
organisms in a petri dish. Think of it like the old arcade game Tempest, only with much squishier
targets. Blast blobs over twenty levels, using ten different power-ups. Three difficulty
levels, bonus levels, and five special blob abilities will keep you coming back for more
protozoan destruction. Like you've come to expect from Digital Eel gameplay is easy to
pick up but a challenge to master.
