Have you ever looked up at the night sky and wished you were up there, exploring the billions and billions of stars?
Have you ever wondered how amazingly cool it would be to meet and greet life forms other than your fellow carbon-based man?
And is it true what they say, that happiness is a warm particle vortex cannon?
If you've answered yes to any of the above then do we have a game for you!
Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space is a grand space opera that will take you from a down and out starship captain to an amazing
intergalactic hero whose renown travels light speed ahead of you! Set in a randomly generated universe of endless possibilities, this single-player experience will let you explore new worlds,
meet exotic aliens, discover black holes, witness the deaths of stars, encounter drifting space hulks that promise untold riches or untimely death, and much, much more! And all this happens in under thirty minutes or less!
Although quick to play, Weird Worlds boasts a deep, feature-rich system that ensures each session is as fresh as the first play. Players start off with their choice of one of three
ships to explore the universe with, each ship completely customizable through the acquisition of new components, either via trade or encounters. The majority of the game takes place turn-based style on the gorgeously rendered star map
(always newly generated each game), and uses a simple one-click system that even your grandmother can quickly master. When your starship encounters hostile aliens the action moves to real-time, and while players have dozens of weapons
and tactics at their disposal, the combat system manages to provide this great depth while still maintaining the highly intuitive system of play found elsewhere in the game.
And though it would practically take a lifetime sailing amongst the stars to experience everything that Weird Worlds has to offer, the game never has to stop, thanks to the moddability
ease. Gamers will find that with a little artistry and virtual elbow-grease they can take Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space into an amazing array of new directions, and truly go where no man has gone before!
Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space will provide you with countless hours of challenging gameplay, as you create your own tales of daring do and high adventure in the cold reaches
of outer space. With scores of weapons, encounters, artifacts, goodies, and mysteries you'll be lured by the siren call of exploration to push yourself further and further with each session. Find out if you have what it takes to be a
star-hopping galactic hero in Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space!

"This is one of my favorites. I play it at least once a month, but usually more like once a week. At least try the demo, it does a great job of showing off the game. But I'm warning you, it's addictive."

"Buy this game! It’s got the right mix of polish,
fun, value, and broad appeal to make it an all around winner." --Daniel Buck, Gamezilla
"What is an unavoidable truth is that this game is deeply fun, nuanced, and brief: but the brevity simply sends you back in for more.
It is a simple delight that scales to all levels of player and never, ever overstays its welcome. It is fun, rock solid, and ever so charming and for
what it is it is utterly brilliant. If you’ve ever enjoyed a single episode of Star Trek you need to buy this game.
Heck, you just need to buy this game. It very well may be the best $25 you spend on games this year." -- Edward Pollard, eToychest
"Quick gameplay, infinite variety, mod friendliness—all that adds up to infinite fun in Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space." -- Peter Cohen, Macworld

"The real seller for Weird Worlds Return to Infinite Space is the addictive, gambling nature of picking up items and the unfolding of stories as you adventure through the
galaxy." -- Diamond Miner Mark, The Diamond Games.com
"See, when I finish a game - either successfully or via one of my hilarious mishaps, such as accidentally piloting into a black hole without the appropriate high-level shields -
I don't turn away high from the experience.
I just want to [have] another go. And because it takes so little time to do so..."
"Hell - the 10-year mission could be played in the time your nicotine-addicted mates take to wander out the building, inhale a ciggie and wander back.
So - hell! Why not have another game?
Three days gone."
"The problem here is that it isn't a game which, after playing, provokes the desire to rhapsodize in text. It's a game which, after playing, provokes the desire to have another game."
"Oh - a final testimonial to Weird Worlds strengths: as of 1am on December 22nd, I haven't done any Christmas shopping yet. When my aggrieved girlfriend, family and friends come at me with the communal
axe, I'm blaming this." --Kieron Gillen, Eurogamer

'The Mantle of Babulon' MP3 File:
Courtesy of Arren Frank who recently composed and arranged The Mantle of Babulon, a moody and mysterious music track based on
one of the legendary artifacts found in Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space. Add this to your soundtrack music playlist and it will fit right in. Nice stuff, Arren.
Arren Frank is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, writer, game development QA tester and, of course, gamer from Zubenelgenubi-III who
aspires to a) create games one day and to b) raise blue mutants for show purposes, whatever they are.
Weird Worlds' Soundtrack (MP3 Files):
The Weird Worlds soundtrack features twelve minutes of music that will take you on an astral journey from here to Sector Prime and back. It includes over twenty tracks,
many of which are cuts that were not featured in the final game and are now available for your listening pleasure for the first time ever!
Both files are 44100Hz stereo MP3.
Weird Worlds: The Single (MP3 File):
More Music from beyond the Purple Void.
The Single is absolutely FREE to download and share.
